He just saved you a whole lot of time and effort. Otherwise, all the rest installed correctly, Windows Update took a little while but it finally downloaded all the latest important update and a display graphics driver update for AMD. This worked beautifully and updates are now downloading. Then next one went in with no prob.
I have a Dell Precision T7500 hand me down from my office running Win 7 Pro and just installed a 1 TD SSD in place of the original 300 GB hard I believe either of the solutions that requires restart and a matter of minutes had fixed my problem, so a great thanks to this guide VG!
