It took me weeks to try to figure this nonsense out. I hadn't updated since the middle of May and after scanning for updates for 8 hours in 2 stages, it still wasn't bringing up a patch page. solved Windows 7 64 bit running slow. Our company have so many win7 clients cannot install the updates correctly but for win10 clients they can easily to be installed the patches.We got many clients stuck on checking update http://myscribr.com/windows-7/windows-7-x64-strange-problem.html

I had no idea there were several different update rollups, and other updates that had to be installed beforehand. Odd but it still works. Keep in mind to not accidently link to security only rollup from that link here, that's not cumulative; that's useful for tinfoil people.
