I've checked for viruses etc and it's very odd. Afterwards copy and paste started working again. however my mistake was in thinking it was the quick clean or deep clean check box... thank you very much!!!!!!!! this contact form

My IT department manages most of the settings and software we can put on our machines, so I'm pretty sure it's not any snake oil junkware. I've even reinstalled the drivers for my mouse, printer / scanner & HP desktop.

And when the system starts acting flakey, for some reason it never dawns on you that the junkware is the root cause of the problem. All of this was done in the last week or so, so I had plenty of stuff to move back and forth.
