Well today I think I fixed it, not sure why but performed the following action; perhaps the technical guys here will be able to translate this fix into a full understanding Don't worry, deleting the libraries doesn't remove the data in those folders. As the desktop doesn't always auto-refresh, nicely-written installers do the F5 for you.
