Please, does anyone have an answer? Windows 10 Won't Shut Down Just Restarts But I have learnt to be patient!! However the latest issue of computer active includes a secyion on how to restore programs/changes etc caused by the update.

Following that, you can tweak the setting the way you wish. I have to shut it down by holding the power button down and then start it all over again. So people should avoid this forum for help to be honest. After all that, my laptop started work normally.
I'm a big fan of Glary Utilities (Freeware) You can download and try out at www.glarysoft.com. There are several good distros out there. During the installation, I'd have to manually press the power button down to restart it when Windows installation wanted to restart.
