It works but came back with a new name. I've toyed with disabling the touch screen but hate to on a $1K laptop - granted though, I use the mouse way more than the touch screen. Grif,Just tried your fix for my jumping cursor...SO excited because it seems that the problem is GONE now!! The graphics driver used in Safe Mode is a native Windows driver, your normal graphics driver will not be used. I searched for several days for a remedy to be able to uninstall/disable my touchpad with no luck. My cpu uses a fm2 socket "AMD APU A8-6600K X4 3,9 GHz, Retail", perhaps more people with this problem are using their cpu as their graphics card?
