If the recovery gone crazy every time you do it, I would think that the recovery partition itself is already corrupted, not too sure though. I too have a 2nd hand computer and do not know the original password so it won't let me do a factory restore through the Alt+F10 method. Thank you. The entire system restoration process takes about 40 minutes (may be vary for different computer), so it's pretty good in my opinion. If you can't restore it, then it's a harware problem that only a qualified hands-on technician can attend to. this contact form AVG slows down the computer and does not work as well as advertised.
