I don't get bsod even after automatically restart is disabled. A bluescreen with error codes and messages will appear on the next time this would happen. I will try to post more info about my system in the following days. I fear I need to solve this BSOD problem soon before this laptop bites the dust....

I have tried everything. no restarting as regular as before. It would also be very helpful for you to follow the BSOD instructions that aciid posted as well. Why Small memory dump vs Kernel memory dump which is default on my Vista box. if if i dont do this it continues to crash &if its only shut down for a few hrs it doesnt happen at all ive tried reinstalling windows, updating drivers & The Default folder is totally empty too...
